The holes are not super smooth like the example you posted. Another way to rig it would be a D-ring in the hole and soft shackle throught the D-ring, both of which I carry as part of my recovery kit. The made in USA pieces will always be more expensive. To each his own right?
my Rugged ridge said made in the USA. 1/4" instead of 7gauge.. that was a two years ago so not sure if they still are made in the USA. I see now it is $130 not saying it is better but it is an option.
