Of course....I'm supposed to take delivery of my Jeep the end of this month. Would have loved to have had this feature months ago.

Is it me or is does this seem unimpressive? I’m not sure how this will provide me with any real relevant info that emailing the dealer wouldn’t provide. I’ve been waiting for my build since my 12/4 order so maybe I’m just cranky that I’m still in D.

  • Loaded on rail / truck to your dealer
  • Arrived at your dealer

I hear you. I ordered my 392 XR 12-4 also. Been in D ever since.

They're likely (and should) pitch this as a brand new way for FCA/MOPAR buyers to stay in the loop, but really, it's just good business and should save them $$$$$

Think of how much time gets spent by dealerships and Jeep Chat to look up information and tell that information to you, multiplied by how many orders they get, how often the average purchaser does it, etc. It's likely *insane*

Takes some investment to build a public-facing front to that back-end system, but once you do, all those recurring costs get eliminated = huge savings. Throw some lipstick on it and you can even milk some positive PR out of it. Everyone wins.

I've built similar processes in the past. Find a time suck, automate it, profit.
