You have a green 20 and a white 13, side by side behind the glove box. The green one is what you're looking for.
You're correct. But my vin look up for parts shows it should have the 13 for the green one. Exactly like my white one.
The dealership and I were at odds as I knew I needed the 20 but they insisted it should be the 13 as thats based off my VIN.
My other question too and when I bought my jeep the main battery wasn't a AGM battery. . With all my lights on I changed both the Aux original to vehicle and the main to both being the AGM batteries and will continue to turn off my auto start stop.. but the say after I changed both batteries it threw codes randomly. Today the husband disconnected batteries let it sit and reconnected them now no lights and my battery voltage is now consistent with 12.8 driving when it was when I got it 14.8 consistently. With the lights coming on after the battery change and now they're off and reading my battery at the 12.8 driving, you think my computer was just taking it's sweet time resetting?

Something was taking it's time. 🙂
The 14.8v was too high, so something was off there. Sounds like it's behaving for now. To be honest, the green canbus thing is thrown around way too much on this forum. It's helped a few folks, but for most I don't think it changed anything.

The 13 is located in the R/R quarter panel. Your vehicle has both. The 20 is the one behind the glove box and is the one that usually goes bad.

If whoever looked up the part spent more than 3 seconds looking they could've scrolled down and saw the other one listed as well.

Makes sense now!! Thank you!
With my batteries being replaced do you think the weird lights being on the day after is my computer resetting itself? Batteries both replaced Friday lights went out. Then Saturday morning lights were out then started it leaving the grocery store with my traction control light and check engine light on. Going down the highway with both lights on then all lights came up on the dash then went all off with still the check engine and traction control staying on. I left it Sunday and today till this evening after my husband disconnect the batteries again and let it sit for 20 min to reset. Then all lights off now. Do you think thats a reset?

Pretty sure we talked about this in another thread. You're getting total random can bus DTC indicating an intermittent can bus fault. I do not believe the batteries are related

A different Jeep listed? Have you checked the various VIN placards to verify that they're consistent?

Attached is a picture of my alignment specs. Having a hard pull to the right still. I recently put new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MTs 35x12.50r17 and I’ve rotated them multiple times and that hasn’t changed anything so I think I’ve ruled the tires out. Went to get the alignment check and seems all good here too. No weird sounds or anything coming from the front end. Sort of at a loss now so coming here for additional thoughts.

Hi, I'm new here. Nice to meet!
My current Jeep is a 2018 JL. I've only had it a year thus far, and I've never had the amount of issues in any vehicle I've ever owned especially my other jeeps I had. First, yes by the time I got my JL, it had at least one other owner. I bought it used from a trusted dealership. The previous owner had added quite a bit of stuff, for instance lifted, front wench with light bar, upgraded Stinger radio, and oversized tires. Also it's a manual. This last Nov 24' as I was driving down the hwy, it blew up. I thought I ran over an IED. What had happened was my clutch system literally blew up my transmission. I was about an hour and a half away from home. Not ideal by any means. So that's when all the demons my jeep has came out. Luckily there was the recall of the clutch and transmission system. A jeep dealership where it all happened was able to get that fixed. However, since then, my jeep has been absolutely possessed. It now starts to throw all codes, wipers go on without me doing anything, all dings sound off, power steering locks up while driving causing me to almost wreck. The traction control disconnects, as well as the sway bar, fuel indicator, speed indicator, airbags, literally everything that can go off does go off. I've taken to the jeep dealership I bought it from and asked about recalls on anything electrical and was told there are none. Bare minimum it's at least $300 for them to run a diagnostic on it and I'm not a billionaire, or even a hundredaire for that matter, to have to even pay that, let alone anything else. So my question for any guidance on this matter is; Does anyone know what is malfunctioning in my jeep? And is this something I can potentially fix myself? Does anyone know about any recalls on that matter? The dealership says there are no recalls pertaining to electrical. But there's no way this is something along the lines of wear and tear. Also, I had a friend take a look at it and he found a lot of wires that weren't connected that were all by the battery. Again, I've not done anything to my jeep except the transmission recall replacement. Another question I have is if anyone can give me an estimated guess on what I'm potentially facing to have to pay to get this fixed? Is there anything I need to know about this issue that the dealership will try to avoid or hide, or may not know or even try to pull one over on me?

Whether they are or not it's still wrong. It lists different specs than what mine is.

Unless you run out of plugs, it doesn’t matter.

The VIN does after decoding it? Or the window sticker / build sheet does?

It's been known to happen, but the one we're aware of was a shit show.

In any case you need to have it addressed. You might not have insurance on the right vehicle, might not be able to legally sell it, etc.

So I brought it up to the dealership I bought it from, which is a Chrysler dealership but they weren't concerned about it. Besides just telling them my VIN is wrong, what do I need to do? And how do I make them take me seriously on all this stuff happening to my jeep.

You need to start a separate thread.

When you do, give details comparing the VIN that was on your paperwork and if it matches any of the VINs on your Wrangler. There's a VIN on your passenger side frame, B pillar, and A pillar behind the windshield glass. All matching is a completely different scenario than a mismatch.

Also, give the year and whether you bought it new or not.

Note that there can be many implications for a such a screw up. We need to understand the details to understand those implications.

All in a new thread.
