Maybe they need to develop a form of quadralift for the JL. When you get home at night you push the "lower" button.
OMG don't even get me start on my RAM air ride, it sucks so bad I have to trade it in.

helpful, thank you. As you and I think someone else mentioned, i do notice my garage door still "hangs down" a little when fully open. So i'll take a closer look if my door has the capability to pull all the way back.

I have confirmed rubicon in stock form will be fine. I just know at the very least I may want to go 35's someday, lol.
Yes, garage door techs often do that, they intentionally left the door hang a little bit so it opens and closes faster, since most people won't have a vehicle close to that height any way.

It is an easy fix, depends on your garage opener, it is either two adjustment screws on the side, or two buttons on the back.

Hi everyone,
Looking to get a Rubicon in the semi near future. Something I'm trying to do some research on is what can or can't I do that will give me height clearance issues with getting the Rubicon into the garage.
Wanted to get any feedback or personal experience opinions from those of you that do pull your jeeps into the garage. From what I've researched, Rubicon in stock form has a heigh of 74inches. I believe my condo garage opening is roughly somewhere between 78-80 inches based on me using a measuring tape.

My thoughts are bigger tires up to 35's will probably be ok. But lift, lift w/tires, roof racks will probably not be ok.

welcome any thoughts or feedback.

Yea but to air down every day and air up every morning is just to inconvenient.

I had this problem at my prior house in NJ. The door installers replaced my old door, and hung it so low I could not even walk under it much less bring in my Jeep. They spent another hour or two redoing their work to tuck it up high enough until I was satisfied.

4.5" of lift on 38s fits in no problem.

Jeeps don't require a taller garage...main reason why i bought one.. they fit in car washes too. the truck is 8' tall.

I have a JLUR with 37" tires and a 3 1/2 lift. It stands at 77"

Be aware that the soft top is an inch or two higher than the hard top when measuring clearance. And taller still when in sunrider mode
With my soft top my stock JLR is 74" high. In sunrider mode it will not clear my 79" garage door.
