Wrangler Rubicon 392 Ordering is Open

From what I gather, we will not be able to order one of these 3 years from now, correct?

I know I may be asking too soon but that's how long I will have to wait before I am financially able to trade my Rubi in and make this work. I'm praying I am wrong and it will become an actual trim model.

Don't do it! For two reasons...1)Punkń isn't available. and 2) make any changes and it moves you down the list. I think it changes the VON, which is the order at which they are built.

Very good information. If this is indeed the case it could push someone’s order back by many months since production is supposedly limited in the first 3 months.

I HAVE GREAT NEWS! I ordered my 392 on 11/18. Sales manager entered order into FCA portal on 11/20 and although no estimated build date is available
yet, I now have been assigned a VIN!

Quick question for you, did you separately select the hinge gate reinforcement (XDB), or was it just included with your order?

It was a seperate selection as I plan on going with 38’s.

Just a heads up, build priority moving from 99 to 01 means that the dealership sales manager actually punched in your order and sent it through to FCA portal to make it binding.

I had the same reply from Jeep chat 10 minutes before reading this . I also confirmed I can still make changes with the dealer. I'm thinking of changing from Granite to Punk'n as I didn't see that color option when ordering. Also thinking of what those half door windows look like to know if I ultimately want those too.

Where do you see Punk'n as an option? unless there's a new order guide out I dont see that color

Still not available. I thought I saw someone post they had it but then I noticed it was just their 2018 JL. I'm not making any changes to my order.
