The dangling wires at the shifter have worn out their welcome.

Is there a wireless charging/holder solution that has been successful?

Since my 12V accessory socket was relocated behind the dash during the installation of the trailer brake controller, I was wondering if I could use that to supply a wireless charger/holder by feeding the wire through a gap in a joint in the dash assembly.

It seems like I remember someone posting a company that makes a replacement console lid with an insert in it like the newer chevy vehicles. Here's a link: Charging pad lid

I don't have one, nor do I have any affiliation with the site.

The mighty Joyroom struck out. Vent attachment system not compatible. The top and bottom vent louvers measure 2.25 inches and the middle louver is 2.75 inches deep. The ratcheting hook fasteners on these models appear to be for 1.5 inch maximum louver depth.

I don't have my Jeep here but will post pics of what I did later.

Bullet Point mount, Belkin Boost Charge Wireless Car charger and 10ft USB C right angle to USB C to power. Combine that with wireless car play adapter and I am good to go.

Vent mounts are typically a bad idea in an accident scenario. Unless you like getting punched in the face with a cellphone.

I ordered the Sanctum wireless charger from LeatherSeats.com and wireless Carplay dongle. My console lid arrived there today so hopefully see it back in a couple of weeks. The guy said they are using the magsafe style charging so my iPhone 14 should charge faster which is good cause Carplay drains the battery. This is a cleaner setup than most options. It is pricey at $350 for the console lid, and $120 for the dongle. But if you bought a Wrangler you can afford it

I'm using the Ram Mounts Quick Grip. I don't have it completely installed yet but it'll mount on the Ram Mounts Tough track and run behind the dash to the ACC aux wire. I plugged it into my computer USB port and it works as advertised and the spring loaded mechanism seems plenty secure enough to hold even while wheeling.
