Wireless charger?

Anyone install or have been thinking about installing a wireless phone charger somewhere in the center armres, cup holder, or elsewhere? I’m thinking about it since I hate wires and I’ll be using CarPlay over Bluetooth. Anyone?

Some vehicles support it. Not sure if ours does. I’ve never tried. I prefer the wired connection.

Apple CarPlay DOES work over bluetooth. Uconnect8 does not support it, wired only. (CarPlay over bluetooth is kinda new and buggy though.)

Waiting on delivery of course motorsports magsafe charger. Will be installing on dash panel next to radio. Hope to install over weekend.

It uses wifi-direct like Android does for the bulk of its data... Bluetooth on the projection systems is only for Audio...

Uconnect8 doesn't support either wirelessly without an adapter...
