Not an overly huge fan of the effort required in widening the wheel flares......

Interesting comparison, thanks for posting.

As for the wheel arches, compared to the hideous tacked on monster truck flares on the Braptor, I think the XR flares are not such a bad solution.

I was just thinking I need those extended wheel flares up front on my rubi to avoid all the junk and rocks flying up and getting stuck in the rear flares against the paint.

Hi,

I ordered a set for my 22 JLUR as swapping in 35 x 12.50's and also figured they'd help with paint chips, let alone living on a dirt road and keeping it clean...

Rocblocs are probably what you need. Happy with mine… helps a ton.

Does anyone know if the Willys XR sits lower or the same as the Rubicon XR ( Clearance, ride height? )

Exactly the same as rubicon xr...the willys xr was about 1" higher than non-xr 392 which it's next to

If the suspension is the same, I would imagine it will sit even higher than an xr rubicon because it’s a little lighter than a rubicon.
