Why is there no dead pedal???

I have a 2024 JLR X. I installed the M.O.R.E. dead pedal. Required drilling some holes as the 2024 seems to have changed from 2023 and earlier. It works perfect. High off the floor so mat cleaning is easy and solid so I can push on it to adjust hips.

* Can we get away with not including it without alienating too many owners to save money?
* Will the aftermarket provide it?
* If we provide it will the aftermarket only end up doing a better job making it and show us up on both quality and price?
* If we don't provide it will the competition do so? (Brahhh! we have no competition except maybe the Bronco.)

Have this one, since the day I bought my JL back in 2021:

Using it occasionally, but most of the time finding my left foot with raised toes almost vertical and heel pinned to the floor, jammed against the left door frame... The dead pedal is kind of "far" for my body shape and the door frame is where I "rest" my foot instead...
