Great suggestion on the coat hangers! I am awaiting my JLUR and was wondering how to accomplish bringing the wires up to the battery. Thanks for your post.I have no skills and have done two now. Now that there is no cutting brackets like on the 10A/X/Hard Rock, it is such an easy job. To pull the cables up to the battery I used a coat hangar, hooked up the two terminal cables and pulled them up through. Only special tool is a Torque wrench.
For the Mopar (Warn) winch designed for the Rubicon anyone know the difference between these model numbers for the winch: P5160095AB and P5160095AC. I see the AC version is the latest but know what the difference is.Great suggestion on the coat hangers! JCR's winch plate page has a list of winches compatible with the steel bumper.so which winch? is there a comlete list anywhere here> and more importantly of the winches which have you owned and what has worked for you.
River City Offroad lists the Warn Winches that work with the new Warn Plate: https://www.rivercityoffroad.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=WAR101255so which winch? is there a comlete list anywhere here> and more importantly of the winches which have you owned and what has worked for you.
Is anyone, for any reason, connecting theirs to the Aux switches to control power from the interior? If so, why, or why not?wondering how to accomplish bringing the wires up to the battery.
It took a little english to line the driver side bolt holes up, but overall, it wasn't a super hard job. The Smittybilt XRC9500 fit with room to spare, though. It only weighs 46lbs, with the rope, which is why I went with it. It was the lightest winch I could find in its pull class.According to JCR, whose winch plate kit I have, yes.
