Get one of these and keep the OEM relay somewhere handy in case you lose the remote or it quits working for some reason.
Very easy. But I gotta disable the SS. Just another reason for the battery delete. Just another brick in the wall.

Well..yeah.. there is not much to do if they show up in a flat bed!!!
I like the high beam swith idea!

Oh yes to mexican insurance.... State Farm won't cover crap south of the border!
to build on @DogsRule high beam switch idea - isn’t there a forum sponsor that makes a dead pedal with a foot switch? You could definitely use it for this!

@813 Fabrication & Design maybe ot was you?

Hello folks-

I am preapring for a long trip southward in this Continent and am thinking about installing a kill switch: a simple on-off switch wired to the fuel pump. Nothing fancy or electronic so that if anything goes wrong with teh switch I can simply remove it and get things back to normal without too much hassle.

So the question is where you all think is the best place to place the switch? If you have install one in your Jeep, where did you put yours? And how that has worked out?

Any information/insight will be appreciated.

Thank you all in advance.

PS: I am NOT interested in doing anything that involves a Tazer

If you rework the Jerry can mounts so that they are angled forward a bit you won’t hit the mirrors on them. Ask me how I know.

I can open the doors all the way and they stop just a millimeter before hitting the cans. 🤷🏻‍♂️

At a much younger age, like 19/20, I took the horn wire from the horn on my 1/2 ton Ford and connected it to the trigger feed for the starter relay. Turn the key to on, press horn, and it starts😉. Who’s gonna honk the horn while stealing a vehicle? Even if you had my keys, you likely still wouldn’t of stole it🤣

This is actually pretty good idea. Tho, what if you use the horn while you drive... would that cause the engine to turn off?

No, it would just grind the starter gear on the fly wheel.
Just apply the “ horn don’t work, watch for finger” bumper sticker😂
