Yes. I’ve got an XR on order. In theory, it should have a different plaque too. I’m confident it won’t. No biggie. The plaque is pretty ugly TBH. I’ll probably replace it with something cooler. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’d like the gold plaque personally. Is your XR in D1? I don’t think they started them yet.

Your best bet is going to the dealer in person. I think you’ll find that it works out better for you, in particular.

...reads like a bait and switch to me. They advertise and supposedly sell you a vehicle that has 32.5 water fording capabilities, but instead they deliver a vehicle with only a 30 inch water fording capability...... the hell with a damn plaque, ask for a new Wrangler! haha

I would prefer the gold badge too, but at the end of the day. The silver badged 392s will probably end up being a collectible. Just saying

Things like that matter to car people 25-50 years from now. Especially since this will be remembered as the golden years and peak of cars that ran on fossil fuels. Think about a time when you have the last only only V8 Wrangler with a 392 with an "error" badge.

Incorrect vins, plaques, rare colors, wheels, engine packages, etc. Usually fetch for a pretty penny at auction.

I had good luck with @JeepCares when I had a steering issue in the 2019 JLU Canadian vehicle--they referred me to FCA Jeep Canada Customer Care. Then had a heart to heart, verbal talk with the rep who was assigned. I emphasized that the JLU wandered and pulled and it was unsafe. I told him that I had worked with Transport Canada before, and could/would do again. And suggested that this was a life safety issue and there should be a recall.

I *think* your best bet is to try different dealers. That's what FCA Jeep rep had me do. Then he followed through, and the rest is history. Work was well done.

How do you find dealer ratings? Google? Yelp?

My story isn't important. Just letting you know the path that helped me solve this life safety problem.
