Use the manual shifter it will get the oil boiling in no time, also disable the Stop Start to keep it hot, if you switch back to auto, going back to auto it tends to drop back after a bit.

This works with the 2.0 4xe in deep winter.

The trends, or averages, for my 2.0T, which I don't abuse:
Coolant: 195F
Oil: 197F
Transmission: 178F

Those figures will be higher, but not excessively so, when I'm towing a 1,400lb. trailer during the warmth of Summer.
My 2.0 stays around these temps quite often:
Coolant: 187F
Oil: 187F
Transmission: 187F
If I'm on the gas the coolant/oil go up but usually come back to these temps.

This morning drove about 10 km(6 miles) temperature was 3 Celsius(37F)

I parked after 3 miles for 15 minutes, then returned, this is using the manual shifter.

Total time is 45 minutes, with 15 minutes parked and off.

Temperature got up to 90 C which is 194 F, when driving longer the temperature go to 210 F+

Filter every other oil change
So you only increase your chances of cracking it by 2.5x, and on top of that you have new oil with old filter. Solid plan :) (anyway I was just joking with my first post - didn't think anyone would actually take it serious)

And this is why I never used my Jeep Wave oil changes and just do it myself. Also not a bad idea to use a torque wrench so you know exactly how tight the cap is. TBH, you don't even need to torque it all the way to 18 lb-ft. 15 lb-ft is just fine and ensures that you aren't close to stressing the weak plastic housing.
Friends don't let friends buy vehicles with plastic oil filter housings. :)

My 3.6 runs between 195-200 degrees year round. I change the oil once a year maybe 1500 miles or so.

Agree...and this is one of many reasons why I can't wait to dump my JL and go back to driving a CJ or TJ. Perhaps the phrase should be "Friends don't let friends buy Stellantis products."
