Yea but a lot of people honk at me while Im driving and Im wondering if that could help. The only other lever in my Jeep I dont know what it does has some numbers and letters on it line 2H N 4L or some other weird hieroglyphs on it but I dont think that matters to the honking.

That level with the weird writing on it is your problem. Next time someone honks at you all need to do is grab that lever and jam it as hard as you can towards 4L. After that it will be awhile before anyone else honks at you.

Never seen one in any of the BMWs Ive driven.

It's a secret passenger eject button. The lights come on to warn drivers around you. Then you can eject them to the right or left.
