The power to your rear window defroster and wiper and the washer fluid hose. The clip is where you put the hose after disconnecting it when removing hard top.Just looking over my new Jeep and came across these. What are they?
Yes, you plug the hardtop connection into it as a placeholder when the top is off. The JK’s had a cover over the roll bar that you would tuck all this into. The JL doesn’t so they provided this plastic holder. Is that what goes in the square hole on top of the molding over the rear 12v power port?
That makes total sense. I have been securing mine with a micro bungee using the square hole. Do you see a mopar part# on the bottom where it attaches to the molding?Took a picture of mine. I’m sure it was clear before, but this is it.
Unless you are like me and forget to unplug them every time. Then sit there wondering why you can't hoist the top more than a few inches!Yes, you plug the hardtop connection into it as a placeholder when the top is off. I won’t admit to it, but I ‘may know a guy’ that’s done that before.Unless you are like me and forget to unplug them every time. Then sit there wondering why you can't hoist the top more than a few inches!
Thanks, I guess this is the way Just fixed it, had to shorten it by a couple of inches since the dog chewed on it, but it works.Use a barbed connector, no clamps need. Plastic washer hose repair, auto parts store
