What are these?

Spotted on the frame behind the front driver/passenger seats in a 2 door hard top Sport. Photos attached. Any ideas what their intended purpose is? I can’t find any mention in the manual. Soft top tie down?

I use them to strap the back seat secure when it is folded up. I have a 2018 JL.

What Dan said. The rear seat doesn't lock into place when it is folded forward, so you loop the velcro straps on the rear of the seatback through these anchor points to keep it from flopping around.

I always wondered what those stupid straps on the back of the seat were for. Not so stupid I guess! I don't keep the rear seat in the Jeep, so there's that...
