Sounds like you should be able to get FCA to buy the Jeep back under the Lemon Law. Might be time to lawyer up.
Our thoughts exactly. Then the dealership called yesterday and said they had our new radio. It was installed this morning, so we'll see how it goes.

Nearly exact same things were happening to me - at that same time. Bought mine in October. They eventually replaced my radio in March. Was doing fine and seemed fix until this morning when the no volume thing happened again. I am very irritated as this is 7 months now in a brand new Jeep. I have taken this car in more times in 7 months than I did the whole time I owned my previous ford edge, that I had for 10 years.

I am curious to know if they have figured out what this is. Because a new radio did not fix it.

@JeepCares

So new Jeep JL owner here and have experienced the following items in the past month with my 8.4 inch radio. I'm sure others have the same problems, and wondering if/when they will get fixed.

Issue 1. No sound from Radio.
Fix: Click FM, AM, then it starts working.

Issue 2. Green screen when backing up.
Fix: Resolved on its own after coming out of Reverse, which cycled the camera off/on.

Issue 3. Radio/Controls completely useless with Radio/uconnect stuck on one station and volume. Mute button did not work, neither did anything else. The Screen Off button worked though.
Fix: After about 15 minutes, radio/uconnect went back to normal.

Issue 4. Sound volume very low. Turning up to the max of 30 was similar to around 15 when working. Sub had no sound. Bluetooth call was very low. Button click sounds were quite loud though.
Fix: Powered car off, went and had dinner. Came back in about 1 hour and it was back to normal.

Went to the dealership today for an oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor said they were still working on fixes to these issues...no ETA.

I'm in a quandary. My radio had been doing the exact same thing with no sound at times until I but the AM button. I told the dealer about this fix from the forum here. Of course they knew nothing about it. They want to replace my radio. The ordered me a replacement. I wanted new but they say they put a refurbished one in. I don't believe many people have had the problem fixed with a replacement radio. So I'm not eager to have the dealer replace my radio maybe damage the dash etc and replace it with a refurbished one. Should I just wait it out or let them replace my radio? I don't really believe it will fix the issue.

Is there any update on these radio fixes? I have discovered that when I have my doors off, the sound volume issue occurs 90% of the time. Therefore when I drive with the doors and top off, I can barely hear my radio. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Post that clearly shows the radio volume issue: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...ect-radio-issues-fix.18549/page-3#post-703990

I have the exact same warning tone intermittently over my radio as well... and it seems to go away after a couple of hours of "off" time. Yesterday, my offroad pages "error-ed" when I tried to load them, and then all My APP icons disappeared. Soon after, radio died and phone would not work. I factory reset the radio and then my navigation would not load. Hitting the AM/FM button did seem to get the radio and phone working, but nothing else. My jeep is 4 months old and I just hit 7,000 miles.

Hi DzrtShrk,
We understand why this may be concerning. We suggest having your dealer inspect this concern if you have not done so already. We are also available via private message if you would like any additional assistance during that process.
