So I left work last week and was jamming the radio (8.4) and I tried to turn it down and it was all or nothing. 0 was mute but 1 was full blast. Tried shutting it off, open and close the door to no avail. Ended up stopping on the way home and pulling the negative cable and that seemed to fix it, albeit with the usual loss of power issues like partially disabled climate control, and loss of some apps like travel link. All reset the next morning so all is well. Anyone else experience this? Any idea what happened? Thanks

It's pretty easy to reboot the radio with a Tazer. I've found that the JL/JTs that I've had needed a radio reboot about once a month.

I have a Samsung TV that does that every once in a blue moon. Level 0 is off and 1 or higher becomes full blast. Just a weird glitch of some sort and pulling the plug to reset it always fixes it.

Think there's a way you can reboot the uConnect by holding down certain buttons (think it's volume and scan for 20 seconds), so maybe try that next time if it happens again.

Thanks. Should have read my Tazer manual. I will do that if it ever does that again.

My UConnect used to give me all kinds of issues randomly - blue screen, no radio, back-up camera stuck on, radio on with no functions to adjust sound or station or source, you name it. It would automatically re-boot while I was driving, sometimes multiple times, then start working properly. Before I realized it would reboot on its own I often shut the vehicle off and restarted it, sometimes multiple times. Knock on wood it hasn't happened in quite a while. If it does start acting up again, I blame it on you for creating this post... :CWL:
