Weird Issue/Question

Does anyone else have this issue? When driving with the A/C on, if I receive a text message and access it using Carplay, the A/C blower will slow down while the message is being read. Is this just a sound thing? seems odd.

Mine does that and as I understand it to make the fone understandable...but its a message so the Jeep cannot tell the difference.

I'd say that's intentional. The radio volume drops to make the message audible. It's not a difficult programming feat to temporarily lower the interior fan to non-noisy level as well. This is definitely to prevent the driver from being distracted by a hard to hear message.
