Weird Chimes

Purchased my 2024 Rubicon with 4,000 miles a couple of months ago. All of a sudden today as I was driving it there were 3 dings with no notices or warnings. This happened about half a dozen times periodically and then completely stopped. Any ideas?

red light camera. no visual notice of this. drove me crazy for a month till i read the book, i mean who does that. If it stopped, maybe your phone is not connected, or they moved the camera.

My 2024 did this when brand new, did it two or three times. I figured I wasn’t used to all the sensors and nanny systems since I was used to a sport with power nothing. It hasn’t happened in thousands of miles though. I did not renew any subscriptions so…

My wife's new GX550 has so many chimes and dings that it reminds me of reading about the pilots in Vietnam when SAMs are detected. They were overwhelmed with all the warning noise and shut them off so they could think about evading the damn missile.

XM radio, maybe ....
If you have a favorite favorite song(s) or favorite artist (s) saved on any Sirrus/XM channel you will get a ding by the radio and a tiny banner will pop up on your radio screen each time that artists song(s) are played and you can then go to that channel and listen to your favorite.

Wild ass guess. Aren’t there several categories that have sounds and alerts in the Nav settings for things like approaching a red light camera that can be turned on and off in settings?

I second this. Mine does the same thing.

My 2020 has a chime that comes from the drivers side rear of the vehicle. It's not the favorites on the radio, because that still doesn't work and I know what that sounds like.

Drove me crazy when I purchased my 2025 Rubicon. No one at Jeep could answer it. AI however did. It’s a red light camera warning on Tom Tom. I verified it by driving past know red light cameras

I just figured I was a paranoid schizophrenic.

Every now and then ill hear what I thought was a warning chime, ill look at thebcluster and screen and nothing.

My constantly plugged in family never hears it so I felt like Charlie in the Mailroom

I dont use TomTom just Google Gmail etc, maybe that's where it picks up the camera info.

Pretty sure its not getting info itself as I never paid for the dog collar info option

Hell, I thought it was an air tag or something like it going off, have heard that noise like 4 times now and was driving so I couldn't really stare at the screen to wtf was going on.
