Hello all! This will be my very first post. However, I am not totally new to the jeep game. I previously owned a 2017 Wrangler with the 6 speed and a Ripp Supercharger.

Now, I own a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon and am looking to order the delete kit.... like in a few hours lol. I wanted to post here to see if anything would sway my mind away from the delete. Currently have my eyes on the EOC Race tune with their fancy looking exhaust.

My current mods for "performance" is the K&N Intake, AFE Charge pipes, and MBRP filter back exhaust.

Thanks so much in advance, Ill see if i can post a pic of each!

Location is North Texas.

What do you mean by delete? Are you talking about a catless exhaust?
I want someone to steal the emissions off of my ecodiesel for more power, better mpg, cooler sound, more reliability

Sorry for some reason I thought I read you have a 3.6, not 3.0.

There are Canadian companies that can help.

I still don't see any "delete" aspect to this - it looks like a traditional tuner that increases boost. If that is the case, you'd be better off with a Banks Derringer. Bigger company with more R&D. That said, maybe I'm missing something. Either one will void your 96 month emissions warranty, if that is important to you. For example, if your DPF needs replacing, it will cost you $3K+ out-of-pocket without your warranty in place.

I'd slow down and do further research because none of the three things you've already added have likely impacted your power at all.

And... what do you mean by "steal the emissions"?

Steal the emissions, it’s illegal here in the US to delete them, so sometimes they just get stolen or lost or even fall off. nobody would dare intentionally remove them…

as far as the derringer goes, i had one and have had nothing but bad experiences with it. I ripped it out last week and it along with the pedal monster is trash to me but i’ll have it listen to sale on facebook marketplace shortly.

My dpf was actually just replaced less than 5k miles ago, so if there’s a market for those i’ll be selling mine

As far as deleting the emissions goes, i did order the EOC “race” exhaust tonight. i’ll order to tune sometime later but im in no rush right now.

I currently am running a EGR disabled stage 1 tune from EOC. Still got DEF enabled, which I don't regret, It does eat DEF like crazy with the racing stage 1 tune from EOC.

I'll be ordering the stage 2 tune from EOC sometime next year. I would honestly recommend the multi-map if I were you. If only because the racing tune is fun and all, but sometimes you want to get amazing mileage as well. I'm currently averaging 21 MPGs from the pump on 37s with a 2.5-in lift and the stage 1 racing tune.

Definitely make sure that you send them the PCM from your Wrangler, or one that you've had copied with all of the most recent updates. I forget the exact details of it but there was an update that 2019 that you're going to want on whatever PCM is getting the tune. I forget exactly what it does, the update something to do with either the auxiliary battery or the security light feature. But if you do get a blank PCM flash by them and you get that security light, it can definitely cause issues, like you won't be able to use a taser or a J-Scan without it going into anti-theft mode, at which point you'll have to unplug the battery for anywhere from 2 to 19 hours before it resets itself. That damn security light got me stuck on goat at crossbar for a weekend and cost me about $1,500 to get it back. So just do yourself favor and make sure you send them a copied or your factory PCM. DO NOT LET THEM FLASH ONE FOR YOU.

Also if you want to get the most out of the tune, you're going to want the transmission tune as well. I believe you can get that done after the fact, but it's easier to just get it done then and there since you already going to be shipping them your PCM.

That's my two cents.

Maybe @Tread4Lo might have something to add. 🤷‍♂️

I can be naive sometimes. :)

That's my take on it. No rush! I got three more years before I need to start worrying about it. ;)
