Uconnect screen freaking out

I'm skeptical. The first issue I had was on January 23rd with ~50 miles on the Odometer. It went haywire again on Thursday. Brought the Jeep in on Saturday and just got a call saying it was a failed U-Connect update over the weekend. How is that possible when my issues occurred since day 1? @JeepCares

Mine is at the dealership today getting the new UC installed. We will see what happens The
Dealer told me they are switching vendors for the UC computer. She didn’t know if I’m getting the new one or the old one.

Maybe I will have off road pages when I pick it up...wonder if that is why they pulled them in the beginning thinking they were causing glitches. Hmm...

They gave me a charger with a hemi to drive today...yay

I completely agree with you and that is the wildcard i think may exist where every id just passing it Along

Is yours just a power cycle issue.

I dont trust the promised solution. Hope im wrong.

I have a 20% feeling jeep and u connect are saying “oh-f” and its a antennagate issue.

My friend had the same issue on his Hellcat last year, power cycle issue, and it was resolved with another software update.

New update: I'm told that the software Engineers haven't developed a fix to the issue yet, and FCA told my dealer to expect something in the first quarter. They didn't know whether the update will come over the air or require a manual update at the dealership. For now I'm just hoping that I'm close to home when the heat goes off and the A/C goes on whenever the computer feels like freezing me out.

I just got off the phone with Uconnect and my dealer, Both sounded like they didn’t have a clue! So yes, it’ll be a while. I’m so glad I came back to an American auto company. I was tired of never having trouble with my Toyota. Ffffff! I’ve had my Jeep three days and no radio for two!

I've been hesitant to post this, (didn't want to cause mass hysteria) but last week mine powered off then on while I was driving. Has not done it since though. But today, suddenly my Ipod, (connected via USB on ports 1,2 or 3) will not allow me to play the music I select . It will read the Ipod and show the music just fine , but if I select a song or album and press it..... It will play something else all together. Virtually useless. I will call the dealer tomorrow as well as the number included in this thread. .. #nothappy

yours sounds like a different issue altogether.

Maybe try a reset.
