Two door itch is real

If I'm being honest, I've yet to make use of anything related to the extra set of doors and space on mine. Occasional pizza box on the floor behind drivers seat...that's about it.

If it wasn't for the XR package not being available for it, I would've highly considered a 2dr Rubi instead. Perhaps in 2025 lol

Any of my fellow 4 door Jeep owners relate? Sometimes, I wonder why I got the 4 door. A two door sounds like a lot more fun, especially thinking back to my YJ/TJ days. Now I don’t have kids, so there is that. My dogs don’t take up much room. It would be nice to have a shorter top to take down. Just day dreamin over here!

It won't exist in 2025.. I would love to see manual transmissions and 2DR jeeps but its unlikely.

Nice looking rigs dragoneggs. What motor is in yours RV. Also, are you concerned that the towbar is more the 3" from being level.

Thank you. 3L Diesel that is an awesome little beast… and very easy on fuel as well! And yes I am concerned about my unlevel towbars. They were level until I recently put 315s and a Clayton 1.5in lift. First time out with the lift… totally forgot about adjusting the hitch. Need to find an adapter!

The adjustable arms are having a hard time locking in place.

Nice setup but why couldn't you do that with a 4dr? Are you at your towing limit? A 2dr vs 4dr weight difference is around 200lbs so I've read. Just curious. I like that color Jeep too!

Yes… as it is I am at my CGVWR. I think the delta is more than 200lb but I could be wrong. As it is, I removed the heavy back seat and have added the lightest possible mods. Aluminum bumper set up for towing, light weight aluminum belly skins, lightweight wheel/tire combo, not to mention other gear.

A few things with a 2 door. The seat trolly is garbage and you should buy a spare set. Then the seat handles to open up those seats to get someone in the back will break too. Now I got to change out a seat handle but at least I got a set of spares for the seat trolly sitting in the center console.

If you want to do parallel parking and shoehorn that Jeep in, it's the best out there.

Real Jeeps don’t Have rear seats so it’s a non issue?. If 4 drs are your thing ok, but a 2dr just feels so much more nimble (4 dr does ride better though?

I think I'd be interested in test driving a four-door. Just to see how it feels.

Jeep dealers offer this service for free.. They even let you go out in a brand new one too.
