Any of my fellow 4 door Jeep owners relate? Sometimes, I wonder why I got the 4 door. A two door sounds like a lot more fun, especially thinking back to my YJ/TJ days. Now I don’t have kids, so there is that. My dogs don’t take up much room. It would be nice to have a shorter top to take down. Just day dreamin over here!

I gave in and switched to a 2 door.
Love the CKC Spaniels if I haven’t already said that.

CKC are the best!

Any regrets on the switch, miss anything with the 4 door?

None. I also don’t have kids.
However, my 4 door was annoying. It was eating sensors and as a Rubicon that turned it into a glorified JLU Sport. My 2 door is a Sport with manual everything. I also have a backup car for when I mess something up on the Jeep.

Agree, I really miss my 2 dr. The JL is my first 4 dr. and I only got it to get enough room for my teenage boys to go with me. But they aren't too interested in wheeling anymore, and I miss how sporty the 2dr is.

2 doors are super fun. Hands down more fun than a 4 door. I owned a 4 door in 2018 for a short period of time. Got a 2 door in 2019 and never looked back.

Although 2 doors are impractical when compared to a 4 door. They are a lot more useful than other 2 door cars. For 2 people, with the rear bench removed it is actually very practical. I tow a small camper with mine and take my wife and daughter camping with the little jeep. It isnt that bad really.

Ironically, I put my seat back in ?.
It allows me to segregate my cargo without things rolling about. My groceries fit behind the rear seat most trips. I have also cleaned up my tools so they are in roll-up bags and hardly take up any space now.

Careful now. There is a member on this forum that equates 2 doors with poverty. Think real hard before you decide to look as poor as me!

I bought a four door for the Ursa Minor top. Someday when I'm too old to dispersed camp with it, I'll gladly tow a 2 door from an RV. I'm slowly getting to starting a mfg company and would love a 2 door to develop products on.

Just me, the wife and the pooch, so the 2 door is perfect for us. We have her Land Rover for company and long trips where there will be no wheeling.
I also use mine for work. People are shocked at how much I can fit in the back without the rear seat.
And it's a hoot to zip around town in. With the 2.0T, it's like a full sized go cart.
