I run an EVO 4.5" Lift, beadlocks with 37s. I ran 4.88s for the past 4 years, and really couldn't complain. However, I just regeared to 5.13, and the difference is significant here in hill country. Way less strain on takeoff, way less foot in the pedal when running up hills.

Bottom line? You'll be fine either way.

I am now retired. took it early due to health issues. We are looking to move in a couple years as well. We want some land but don't need to be secluded. I know the jeep is capable. I just wanting to personalize it and make it mine.
Good on ya. I could say I retired due to health but I still work for the joy of working. I do need to get back to the ranch life...wife says I will die with either a Chainsaw in my hands or on the seat of a John Deere...alright by me!

Been running Rock Krawler for a long time…. Great lift, great company….Metal Cloak is also a great company, I just like some things better the way RK approaches them……I’m on 37s, and running 4.88s….works great….have any questions holler, also there’s pics in my build thread,
Any issues with any components? I am looking at the Adventure X no limits kit.

Thank you for the input. I live in mostly flat country but will be taking trips to the mountains and such.

That’s a popular kit lately, with the maintenance free joints…..couple things…. You’ll need to run a wheel with 4.5” backspace or less to keep from rubbing the lower control arms at full turn….you can do wheel spacers as another option…. Also if you don’t buy a kit with their shocks you’ll need to purchase the bump stops separately… only kits with their shocks include bumps…..

Those will pair nicely with the triple rate springs….but shocks are subjective so some may think they’re to firm and some may think they’re to soft….

No way to know until I try them. I have had bilstein and rough country shocks in the past as well of stock shocks of course. I like Bilstein but I hear good things about Fox. I will give them a try and see hiw it goes.

I bought my 2024 JLU Rubicon at the end of April. I have been looking at a bunch of different aftermarket parts. Currently I am trying to decide between A Metalcloak lift or the Rock Krawler. i saw a kit from each one and like them both. I then looked at the warranty info and it seems the Metalcloak warranty is lacking significantly. Rock Krawler is the direction I am leaning in now. My jeep came stock with 4.88 gears and the 3.6L engine. i am planning on 37 inch tires and a 4.5 inch lift. My concern is, will that combination be a good one. Do I need to replace or at least split the stock fenders?. Will the engine handle the tires with that much lift? I am recently retired and want to enjoy this thing but I am hoping with the current gearset that I will be able to do what i want with minimal risk. Any advice is appreciated.
Many good replies here but I may suggest 3.5” unless you have a specific need for that height. LCG is always a benefit IMO. 3.5 would be plenty of lift for 37s, if you ever decide to go larger then consider gutting flares to gain a little more room. This is just a suggestion and my opinion. Here is pic of 37s with a mopar 2” lift with 1/2” spacer in front for reference.

I agree. For a JLU Rubicon with 37s, anything over 3" of lift is just added center of gravity, added body roll on corners, and added pinch to the driveshaft angles. Not to mention that it starts to look like a roller skate with all of the extra gap between the fender and tire.
