Good job. when they retrofitted that house and removed the candleholders and put in electricity when offroad vehicles were horse drawn, they used cotton covered wire.

I would avoid putting terminals under clamping bolts/nuts. Your battery terminals have places to attach terminals. Use those instead.
Why is putting on the clamping nuts not good?

The little charger terminals are made from soft material, likely copper and zinc plated. When you put them under the clamping nut, it squashes and spreads them more and more each time you clamp the battery terminal. Eventually, the little terminal hole gets bigger and bigger. As always, I'm sharing this because I was stupid and the advancement of mankind (and womenkind) is based on what stupid people learned and pass along, so the next person doesn't do the same thing. Jus sayin.

And finally, your battery terminals have places on them dedicated for attaching this kind of stuff.

Makes sense.

Also your previous post about my house now has me thinking about what it looked like back in 1922 and now I'm down a rabbit hole to try and find historical photos. So thanks for that. 😂

When you wire that charger, run the wires up along the battery cables, so you can remove the cables and battery without having to undo the charger wires. Avoid the temptation to run those wires like shown in your picture.

I read that 5 times and I guess I need a picture because I can't figure out what exactly you mean.

Don't I want to disconnect the wires? When I go to the drive the Jeep would I not just disconnect here and coil up the end of the cable and just leave the charger at home?

In the NOCO pic, imagine using zip ties to attach the Noco wires to the battery cables. Basically so they run together...

Mine sorta runs that way, but I wanted to store the NOCO quick-disconnect between the battery and the inner fender with an RVi Towed charger.

He's saying for the part you just ordered from amazon that will stay attached in the jeep, do like this so if you have to take the clamps off the battery, the noco adapter part doesn't make it harder

Ah so just avoid crossing the battery. Well sadly that ship has sailed. There is one negative cable that I couldn’t fit around the battery.
