I just recently noticed the other day. I have a 2019 jeep wrangler JL. 8-speed automatic with 3.6 V6. The other day I noticed when downshifting while braking at the same time quickly that from 4th gear to 3rd gear I’ll hear a faint like metal ding noise. It sometimes happens also when it’s shifting up in gears like from a take off and then someone in front me slows down quickly and I let off the gas and get back into it. It will also make that metal ding noise. Other than that. It shifts great and does what it’s suppose to do. Just very odd to me.
