I'm still using the OEM track bar... Honestly I don't see a reason to change it, as the Metalcloak track bar brace completely eliminated any hint of deathwobble (with the OEM stabilizer too). I know it's not as strong as aftermarket, but it seems to be doing it's job correctly. Steering still sucks, but I'm starting to think it's ball joints (31,000 miles on stock Rubicon wheels/tires).

FWIW: I can confirm that the Metalcloak sector shaft brace does need additional bump stop. At stock ride height it doesn't even look like there is enough room for it to fit... any travel would result in contact with the OEM track bar.
Yeah, probably bal joints, if you put in aftermarket ball joints, prepare to be amazed at the difference…….

Any idea if the Metalcloak ball joints will fit with OEM wheels? Specifically the upper red knob. They seem to have a history of not checking fitment on stock vehicles... :headbang:

Anyone have confirmation of a TB that clears the Metalcloak brace?

i have a Rubicon Express TB, 2.5" lift and it might as well be touching

For information purposes. Rusty's TB does not work with the metalcloak brace. I'll have to keep my MC TB
