Not sure if my 2018 Jeep JLU TPMS systems supports 5 sensors or only 4.

Purchased my JLU 8 months ago from a Toyota dealer, a trade in vehicle.
Mileage at that time, 82K and new tires.

The only known issue is the constant warning that no TPMS data is available.
No clue why original TPMS would be discarded.
I assume they are missing after reading the vehicle TPMS system resets automatically.

When I get new tires, should I get just 4 TPMS for the tires on the ground?
Or a 5th, so the spare tire inflation is also known?

Does my Jeep JLU electronics even support 5 TPMS devices?
Last ask, is the Schrader 29093 good quality device for my Jeep?
-thanks

get 5 so you can do a 5 tire rotation. also a 2018 could be about 6 years old so they only last so long before the batteries die. only the tires on the ground register tho as it is the spinning of the wheels that trigger them.

Very good, hoped this could be fairly simple.
And, possibly my JLU has TPMS in the wheels, but their batteries are shot.

I forget his name, but there is an incredibly helpful Mopar parts guy on this site. Give him your year, model, and trim, and he can give you the right part number and maybe even a discount code. Be sure to give the return courtesy of ordering from his site.

Oh Geeze this post got me thinking. Brand new '25 Rubi X with 33's from the factory. I was going to do a 5 tire rotation at 5K but never even considered that the spare may not have a TPMS in it! Anyone know if the spare might have one in it? How would I tell short of mounting it (On the jeep for you with active imaginations)? thanks

It'd be ludicrous for the spare to not have one.
