Today, I finally hit the Trail to Crown King with my trail weight at about 5900 pounds with the Clayton Springs and the Accutune custom-valved Fox 2.5 Elites Double Adjustables with Remote Reservoirs. Wow, what a great shock and spring package to handle my trail weight.

The last time that I was on this trail my fast speed that safely could be driven was about 35-40 in some sections. Today, I was able to safely drive 50-55 and if I had more room I feel 60-65 may have been safely achievable. There was no-way that I could have safely driven at the speeds I drove today with the Mopar 2 1/2" Lift with the Fox 2.5 Non-Adjustable Non-Reservoir Shocks provided in the Mopar Lift Kit with my trail weight.
Holy hell 5900lbs in a 2dr? You carry lead bricks in the back? Our 4dr with skids, 39s, tools, recovery gear, winch, and bumper is only 5800lbs.

Also, that is fully wet with driver and passenger and a Dometic Refrigerator with beverages and sandwiches, and two 2-Gallon Fuel Rotopax and TrailRax, and high lift Jack hanging off the back.

For dealing with weight, Clayton and AEV come to mind first. Rock Krawler and Metalcloak are too flex focused, though Metalcloak has a new "Rocklander" line that may be worth checking out.

I owed you guys a couple of pics and a HUGE thank you for your help! Went with Clayton, was exactly what the Jeep needed. Threw on some Fox hydraulic bump stops for good measure and when the Falcons need to be replaced I will switch over to Fox, Falcons only have about another year left in them the way they are getting beaten on now. Also switched in the AEV Pintler 17” rims and went to BFG KO2 instead of the 18” Toyo MT which was way too heavy and stiff, better suited for a HD pickup truck with a diesel motor. I don’t feel like I’m pulling a trailer anymore. Thanks again, just wanted you to know your time invested in helping me wasn’t wasted. Have an awesome day!
