I will order my 2022 Willys when all is somewhat back to normal whenever that will be. If I wait long enough I will be able to order a new Bronco with $5000 Ford incentives and $5000 dealer discounts on new Broncos on there lots for sale. Isn't this fun.

The dealer I ordered my Rubicon through confirmed that the 2022s began production today and they are expecting delivery in March.

I hate to be greedy, but both of my current Jeeps are broken in significant ways so it'd sure be nice if the Jeep gods bestow mine upon me faster than March. C'mon, factory, do your magic.

"December 6th" is factory code. It means 6th "Dece" (hot) month which would be June, then "mber" means if they remember to start in June or it gets pushed to August.

if I have to go with one of two people who have inside information, I’m going with the one who doesn’t seem to take it personally every time someone else suggests something different.

Not that our opinions matter on when manufacturing actually begins.

I'll have to say I never worked on the jeep line but I've worked on a few,... no BS. The lines are usually down for 2-3 weeks during the holidays. As an outside contractor we're in there working on the lines.. they're stopped. Its repairs on the line, improvements, updates on software hardware. As late as they are in the game, you would think that would be the time to make the changeover.

All I can say is that I stopped by the dealership every morning, as soon as they opened, every day from Monday, October 4th until the opened the 2022 ordering on Friday, October 8th. Heck, I even brought my guy a coffee one morning. Even the morning of October 8th, they were questioning it and had to make a few calls before taking my deposit and placing the order. I got my VON/VIN by email from the dealership that Monday, and have been anxiously awaiting the 2022 build start ever since. Honestly, I'm hoping to have my 2022 JLUR-XR by February 2022 ?

I can’t but help to think that now tomorrow is December 7th, which makes it the 80th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack. Our Jeep ancestors were fresh, new, unproven, and about to see battle ??

I'm betting the '22's will be available to build on the website no later than Friday
