Going to mount new tires in a couple weeks (37x12.5)

I will be keeping/storing my factory wheels/tires for...ugh...special trips to jeep doctor.

Plan is to disable TPMS with new tires/ rims, using tazer. And run them.

Plan is to unmarry tazer and return to stock ecm and swap tires, to stock for "dr. Visits"

I have a central pressure gage on my 4 tires inflate/deflate setup.

So, any pros to using them in my offroad setup?

Might be a dumb question, but how does the central pressure gauge show you the psi on all 4 tires?

I actually like having the tpms. sure I can check by hand but visually I can't tell if one of my tires has picked up a nail and is slowly leaking..visually they look the same at 28psi as they do at 20psi. I do set the threshold down so I don't get the alert at 28psi.

Are you thinking there's some advantage to not having TPMS??
Not at all, just realized I didn't have any for new rims. And I've driven since 1985 w/o a concern for a monitoring system. Check your oil, coolant, air pressure, was kinda raised to do it.

And tazer let's me delete it.

Pump, gage and then 4 hoses so in reality all 4 tires will equalize at the pressure on the 1 gage.

It's like $150 for 5 new sensors. I'd just pay it and I'm pretty cheap.

The only thing that comes to mind is to confirm whether or not the annual State inspection (if one's state has it) requires a functioning TPMS on a vehicle so equipped from the factory.

I mention that because of the OP's cryptic use of "dr. Visits", and the status of the wheel/tire combo currently on the vehicle when that appt. occurs.

Lol, no just when the jeep feels bad.;)

And I live in by God Tennessee, in the country....no inspections, heck tags seem to be hit or miss since the kung-flu...

Just a curiosity type question

Now Memphisdishu, Chattanoogaloo, and ever changing Knoxvillian ....they have inspection stations 🤔

Yeah right....😂😂
