I had a manual with 33" KO2s and 4.10 gearing. I think 35s with 4.56 would be fine but I'm not an expert here. I'm sure there will be more experienced members that will chime in.

I think you'd be fine, but I don't have any experience with the sport axles. Worst case you could add a set of 1.5" wheel spacers. We run them on ours with stock wheels and 39x12.50s.
No spacers needed. That’s the key thing with the Mopar 2” lift. It works with the stock wheels and 35” with no need for spacers. I run 35 x 11.5 R17 on the stock wheels, no spacer, no rubbing at all.

I have the Nitto Recon Grappler 35x11.5r17.

The Toyo Open Cointry AT3 also come in that size. Both are relatively light and load range C.

The Toyo OC AT3 also comes in 34” sizes like 285/75r17 (34” Load C) or 315/75r17 (34.5” Load D)

So, I finally pulled the trigger and got KO3's size 315/70 R17. They are getting installed by Discount on Wednesday. What PSI should I run these on stock rubicon wheels for highway use? How about when I dig through the Florida sand?

28-30 psi on road is a good starting point. 10-14psi offroad

Aren’t the KO3s only in load range F (for now) in that size? That’s a mistake…

I mean really it'll probably be fine just as long as he doesn't air them up to 80 psi.

OP just make sure not to run them more than about 30 PSI and you'll be fine.

I'd say 25psi in a load F tire would be good. Only run 26psi cold in the load range E tires on the Jeep.

Thanks for the input, I’m going to cancel them for C rated tires of that size. I didn’t realize the load rating made that much difference in ride quality.

I personally would not do F rated but have done C, D and E and have been happy with all of them. Toyo makes a 35x11.5-17 at3 in C load and I have run that tire and nice tire, I am am currently running two sets of Mickey Thompson tires one in E the BB AT in 255/85-17 which is a tall 35x10 taller than most 35x12.5's and the BB MT in 35x12.5-17 which is a D rated tire. Both are extremely smooth running tires.

35/12.5 Mickey Baja Boss MTs rubbed a very tiny bit at full lock with the Mopar lift.
Load Range D, and very smooth and surprisingly quiet running.

but you could either put a stack of washers underneath the steering stops to minimize that, or just not turn that hard. ;)

I'm curious where they rubbed?

So I had them order the KO2s Load Range C tires and they came in same day. Went to have them installed at DT, everything looked great. Got home and noticed that the inadvertently installed the KO3 Load Range F tires. Now I gotta head back tomorrow morning to get the proper tires installed. <sigh>

So, I have a 2021 JLUS 6MT that I've just regeared to 4.56. After I break in the front differential I am going to put new tires on it. What is the maximum size I should go with factory wheels and the 2" Mopar lift which netted me about 3.5" on my very stock JLUS.
With a Mopar lift, Unlimited Sport fenders, 4.56 gear ratio, and MT, IMO your sweet spot is 35x12.5. For the PSI I would rely on a chalk test since there are lot of factors that prevent a one size fits all when it comes to PSI.

rubbing i had with 35s was very lightly on the Lower Control Arms, and only at full lock.

i always ask to see and inspect what they're about to mount when i get tires.
i once found a shop was about to put on a tire that wasn't even highway approved. when i asked them about it their initial response was to suggest that i might sign a liability waiver,...!
