If youre on a road trip and you pull into a drive through , it is mainly for the drivers convinience. Somewhere other than the cup holder or trying to dig it out of a bag while driving. to put your fries, nuggets, honey mustard sauce or whatever. Other than a long road trip its worthless. Just got tired of sticking the food in the cup holder while im driving. But obviously not everyone will think its of any value at all..i thought Jeepers would relate(and laugh) because the Wrangler is so storage space challenged as we are always looking for mods to make the Jeep work for us..

If it works for you that's all that matters. I'm with the others, on a long road trip I'd rather stretch my legs and use the fender as a table. If I'm trying to make time I'll just stick with snacks like jerkey or salami and cheese roll ups.

Cool idea, but not for me.

With how narrow and cramped the interior already is compared to "normal" vehicles, I try to keep things free and clear across the console area.

Whenever I'm on a road trip, I grab the food and head to a rest area to sit comfortably outside while eating (weather permitting, otherwise I'll park and eat in the vehicle)

You need one of these… a forearm strap with magnets. My kids bought it for me years ago. (I don’t know where they got it.)

Ok so i just made 2 recent mods to my 2021 JLU. After 4 years running 255s even after my 1.5 in leveling lift upgrade, (see photos) i have finally just installed my Toyo 285 70 17s and man so far really happy w these tires. Cost was $1335 total.. BUT i think i am much more excited about my second upgrade which cost $22 bucks. The
adjustable food tray. No longer does my McDonalds $5 special go in the cup holders and fries go everywhere. Almost want to take a trip just to eat fast food in the Jeep.

I mean a thing of fries sits pretty nicely next to the hand brake, hold the sammich in your hand, steer with your knee when you need a drink. There really isnt a need for a whole ass tv tray in the Jeep. Its like needing your turn signal longer.

That extension of the directional signal is actually quite useful unless you have guitar shredder fingers.

Why do these exist? The only reason to eat in the Jeep is because you're still driving. If I'm going to park and eat why am I mounting a table to the steering wheel? Agoraphobic so you can't go inside? Even when we have the dogs and can't go in but are ready for a break and are going to stop and eat the tailgate table or even the front fender works great. And if we are still driving the bag of food sits right on top of the parking brake handle just fine.

Yup, on a long trip, snacks sit next to the e brake, when we stop to eat, tailgate table. Eating an entire meal while driving isn’t only dangerous, it’s not necessary.

I have Homer Simpson hands and sometimes holding a beer is trouble and I have 0 issues using the turn signals in the JL
