Not gonna lie...space is at a premium in a JL. If there's a passenger, 2 phones, a pair of sunglasses, cupholders and the space above the radio are full, it gets challenging.

We just generally don't eat in the Jeep...too cramped.

I mean a thing of fries sits pretty nicely next to the hand brake, hold the sammich in your hand, steer with your knee when you need a drink. There really isnt a need for a whole ass tv tray in the Jeep. Its like needing your turn signal longer.

Yeah, for a longer road trip I stop and eat at the restaurant. But if I'm in a hurry, eating in the Jeep is an option. But the rule is whoever is in the passenger seat has the duty to manage food for the driver. If nobody is there, the seat is free to hold everything.

Some Jeeps have 3 pedals. You probably meant to say "Not all Jeeps have 3 pedals", which is not the same as "All Jeeps don't have 3 pedals".

And regardless of the pedal count, that tray blocks the automatic shifter handle, making it very difficult to shift.

Has anyone tried one of the steering wheel trays for their Jeep?

I usually don't eat in my vehicles, but thought it might make a nice surface for working on a small laptop. Plus, it's small enough to just chuck under the seat when you're done. I've seen them for sale at Amazon and a few other places and other than fitment uncertainty between vehicles, the only con is they'll eventually leave indentations in the leather steering wheel.
