Yes, your eyes do not deceive you. That's a Bestop Roof Rack sitting on a four-door soft top platform. Works pretty well too as long as you adjust it to seat properly.

Greg,
You know I'm on your side, brother, but take care when asking the removable plastic door surrounds on a soft top to perform a load-bearing function not in their design brief. The rain gutters might not be as robust as they appear.

I feel you on that one. Honestly I was going to use it as a spare tire carrier when I go to the off-road park every so often. Beyond that probably not going to put a lot up there.

Like you said, it's not really intended to support weight quite as much as the more thicker ones on the hardtops.

Which mind you that is the main difference between the hardtop gutters and the soft top gutters. The hardtop gutters are thicker and less deep. The soft top gutters are really just a channel for the soft top. Not so much meant to support anything.

Appreciate the heads up though. Definitely we'll keep it in mind when I'm putting stuff up there! ;) ♥

ooohhh.....50 cal may not be a good idea then....

maybe 30 cal?
Are you thinking @Tredsdert is going to be conservative when it comes to something that he does to his rig??? @Tredsdert??? Screw that! He'll be posting videos of doing target practice with that 50 cal with one hand while cruising along at 110 mph!

As outlandish as my expressiveness is, I don't do it for views from others, I do it from my enjoyment. If others get enjoyment out of my doings, that's on them. We can both smile together.

I'm not really a minigun on top kind of guy, that's a little bit too much attention, and the wrong type of attention too if you ask me.

I'm more of a cargo tub opens up into a weapons cache kind of guy. Or beer cooler unlocks to unveil a bullpup kind of guy. Or the fender flare shotgun storage kind of guy. Or glove compartment is actually a beer cooler kind of guy.

I don't mind being showy, but I like to do on my terms. I like to be able to put it all back and become invisible again. ;)

Instead of a 50 cal, you could mount a 102” antenna for a CB radio up there?
