I certainly recognize when one is talking.
You chose to call yourself out, so calm yourself down.

In '09 I went to purchase my 1st Wrangler, 2dr X 6sp (last year the base model was called the X, I'm still partial to the nomenclature, I am not a fan of "sport" being the moniker for the base trim). Really wanted Sunburst Orange, a burnt orange color that I think they only offered that year. But they had a red one (flame red) on the lot that had everything I wanted, nothing I didn't so I took it. I'd love for them to bring back the Sunburst, as far as I know it was the only year they have offered that color. Now I'm on my 4th, went thru a white JL and a Sarge, now back to red (now called firecracker although its the same paint code as flame was). Full circle...

No way everything was better back then this has to be a lie
Ohhh yeah. In the ‘60s they added “Nebula Green”. Which was kind of a more delightful version of ‘41.

I had a Gobi colored JT Mojave. I actually liked the color because I never had to wash it. It always looked the same. If it was covered in dust, and you washed it, it looked the same after being washed.

I love Gobi, also was not an option when i got mine or i’d have considered it. I’m a sucker for muted colors/earth tones.

Shit there were TONS of bright flamboyant colors for cars back then and it was awesome. Now its the same old boring grey/sparking grey/black/white/tan and red/blue if youre lucky.

But I guess when you cant hold your wifes purse cause someone might see you those boring colors are what you want.
Naah, I just like a more subtle color. Most of my clothes are black/gray/brown too. It’s just how I’ve always been!

Too many fruity colors for me. Stick
Too many fruity colors for me. Stick with the basics and leave the rain forest/bow colors for all the Miata drivers. It’s a Friggen Jeep.
After all, how many different colored Jeeps does the hallmark channel need anyway 🤔
I have both but in reverse

Admitting you watch the Hallmark Channel…this is good…you’re one step closer to letting others see your softer side.

I’m out of Vette’s for a while. I’ve moved on to muscle cars, my current one is a keeper and will be a permanent addition. It’s a 69 Chevelle SS 396. It’s a real SS car, I’m in the middle of getting the original 396 back, it got swapped into a 71 Nova but it’s coming out for a 502 in that car and then I’ll be getting it back. I have the original Muncie from it to, as well as the 12 bolt. No plans on them going back in it, though. I built a 540 and put a Tremec TKX 5 speed behind it with a Quick Performance 9” out back.

Had a girl friend in college in ‘78 who had that same car. Never saw it until I visited her at her home in Cincinnati.

Back in 2010 when I bought my SRT Challenger in B5 Blue, my colleagues would be able to see me driving on the 90/94 expressway from the 93rd floor of the Hancock building in Chicago. Why? Because all of the other cars were white/black/grey except for the yellow taxicabs…
