2023 colors and the guessing game

Hi all...

OK. So I'm now in the 'serious' phase of prepurchase. (Yeah. It generally takes me as long -or longer- to buy a vehicle as it takes Jeep to build one).

I see that HB has been carried over for the 23 MY. I also know that Jeep is notorious for dropping colors with no notice whatsoever, so I gotta wonder just how long I might have to get an order in. Anyone have any insight? Anyone...? Bueller...?

Adding to the gamble, I seem to recall reading in one of the threads here that Jeep can only support up to ten colors at any given time. Jeep dot com currently shows eleven available colors, so I'm left to wonder which one is gonna get the axe -and when.

Something like “mauve” or “chartreuse” will probably be the next “special” Jeep color.

Chartreuse = High Velocity Yellow

You'd think they'd retire of one of the, now, 4 shades of grey (Earl being the newbie, so it gets a pass...for now lol)

Wasn't Snazzberry the one they dropped mid year for 2022 (like around January 2022 or something)? Maybe they'll drop Earl the same way?

I can see that purple being the first color to get dropped, followed by High Velocity.

Does Jeep paint all the white cars at once , then black and so on? In other words do colors influence the time to start a build? Would a rarer color cause a delay?
