Ineos just opened a new dealership near me, so I stopped by to take a look and ended up test driving. Odd names but I think it was the Trail Master version, very nice Burgandy color with grey/white seats.
The fit and finish very nice on this vehicle, and the doors and rear gate all closed with a nice solid thunk. The seats are made by Recaro not much to say but they are extremely nice and comfortable. Interior is great for a button/gadget nerd and looks like an airplane console and there are a bunch of switches above your head too. The only thing thats odd is the BMW shifter since it uses a BMW 3 liter straight 6 and transmission.
On the exterior there are dozens of grab handles and places to attach ropes, bungies, etc, and has 2 manual Safari sunroofs in front. The rear door is a 80/20 split which is odd at first but works well. Its a heavy vehicle (I believe over 5k pounds) and the 3.0 doesn't feel under powered but not over powered either I'd say adequate for an off road vehicle (no problem keeping up with traffic) I believe MPG is 15/15 LOL!. Very smooth ride even over bumps reminds me a bit of driving a Gwagon, but as it has a solid axle in the front so steering corrections are necessary. I did like that they have both Diffs off centered on the same side, should make it much easier not to scrape.
Its not cheap, a well equipped one is mid $80s, but the quality is there and I believe it has a 6 year warranty to boot.
Worth taking a test drive.....
