Its not really the inside that bothers me, I just dont like the new look. They look cheap (and they may not be, just an opinion)
But a Jeep doesn't look/feel cheap? That is a matter of perspective I guess... Jeep is the king of looking cheap, every hinge on the vehicle is exposed for starters. Some see character, I see a lack of even trying for a clean design, cheap in other words...

Don’t forget the missing paint around those hinges lol. One thing that drives me crazy about the wrangler is how wavy the doors are. There are indentations around every hinge, and when you drive by a wrangler, the doors look like soda cans, especially noticeable in the shade.
The bronco looks straight as an arrow in person, which gives my eye the impression that the bronco is way higher quality.
Im really into detailing/polishing but I don’t even touch my wrangler with my polisher because it’s just gunna highlight the flimsy door panels that much more and I’d be afraid I’m going to dent them applying too much pressure :CWL:

So you are admitting you haven't been in a Bronco then :CWL: The look and layout of the dash in the Bronco is space age compared to the Wrangler. Both the instrument panel and the center screen are a decade more modern than the Wrangler. The design is MUCH cleaner and more modern than the Wrangler, anybody who has actually looked could see that...
Not my take away. I’ve driven the Bronco and compared to the the Jeep. The layout of controls was more intuitive for me in the Jeep.

Additionally, the Jeep tech might not have been as good as the Bronco, but it met my needs better.

Finally, in my humble opinion the Bronco interior is simply cheap and ugly. I enjoy my Jeep’s interior every time I get in, materials, feel, look, etc. Couple that with no cup holders or AC in the rear of the Bronco and the Jeep pulls ahead. FYI, I have a Bronco reservation, however after my test drive I bought a Jeep. So…

Wrangler owner who ordered a Bronco, but I am convinced it will never come (ok maybe in late 2022 or early 2023). Now I am somewhat regretting the Bronco order and will probably cancel as soon at the Wrangler 2022 order banks open and I can review current pricing, options, etc.

The Bronco base is more well-equipped that the Wrangler base and cheaper when you compare the Bronco base to a Sport S. The Broncos look great with the top down, but I really do not care for the look of the soft top and I hate the wavy rear windows. All things considered, I believe that the Bronco is a great vehicle and I am sure I would be happy with it. However, I decided that I now prefer the Wrangler's looks and options. The way the Wrangler drives on the road has never bothered me, in fact I kind of like it.

I saw my first one the other day, right in my town! Was pretty surprised. I was going to make a turn and saw it coming towards me, so I decided to wait (and probably tick off everyone behind me lol) and let them go past me.

Honestly, I thought it looked pretty awesome. It was white with the gray hard top. Had LED lights. Was wide as heck, and I'm not a fan of having those huge letters over the grille, but it looked pretty sweet overall.

Very, very big. Much bigger than a similar jeep.

Worst vehicle we have ever owned, out of over 100, for washing and keeping clean. I absolutely loathe my wifes decision to get black...

Well I am used to a full sized truck (a Ford) so that probably plays into my preference for the Bronco. The Jeep is way to cramped for my liking and the seats do not fit my 6'3" frame very well. I would never choose it for myself. I just drove it home from town and I am amazed how much enthusiasm I see for Wranglers... Glad you guys like them, happy for my wife to have one. Thats as far as my Jeep love is ever likely to go.

Meanwhile on the Bronco forum...

(Heavy Sigh)... yet another Bronco post on the Wrangler forum that loves on the Ford turd. AC blows colder? Really, my AC is cold as a cucumber. That soft top on the Bronco looks like $hit... seriously it's like Helen Keller designed it or something.
Drove great? It should with IFS but let's go see it on the rocks next to my sexy flexed out Jeep.

Blah blah blah... do the guys on the Bronco forum post this much stuff about the Jeeps. Seriously, we need a sub forum on here for Broncos.

OK I'm done being a dick.

Actually a lot of folks on Bronco forums are obsessed with Wrangler comparisons. But I get the desire to compare the two. Although, I still like the Wrangler better.

Yes, they actually do have a subforum specifically for Jeep comparison. If you post on it and don't favor the bronco, their tears will dribble from your computer screen.

Just dropping this off. Not the best photos..but I figured this would be a more real world comparison..even though I have 37" tires ;)

I've sat in 3 broncos now. A stripped down Base, a mostly loaded Outerbanks, and a fully equipped Wild track. The interiors fully rely on the 12" screen to distract from the thin cheaply put together plastic dash and center console panels. The whole dash top flexes like a Tupperware lid from the 80's when you grab it. There is zero improvement from the Base to the full send model. All 3 of them had delayed reactions to the window cracking when the doors opened. If you don't pause after unlatching the door, the window catches the weatherstripping and flops open. Also, I noticed that the windows don't have a dedicated channel in the weatherstripping. It just mushes into it when the window closes.

The salesman wouldn't let us test drive any of them, but I've driven Sante Fe's and 4Runners, so it's all a blur once you can't see the exterior styling from the drivers seat. He did let us start them, so I saw 1st hand how the digital gage cluster gets washed out when the sun is out ahead of the vehicle. The vertical tach looks like a possessed fuel or temp gage. Ford seemed more focused on change for the sake of change, but completely missed the mark in final execution.

There's definitely room for improvement on the Wrangler line, but they won't be found by emulating anything from the bronco beyond those who would like a larger infotainment screen.

I like how the guy that dosent have much love for Jeeps is hanging out on a Jeep forum.
It's on par with the overall mentality of those captured by the bronco. To be easily upset and everyone needs to know it. And as much as Ford keeps pissing in their cheerios, they refuse to admit being able to taste it. If you reasonably point out that they're wincing with every bite, the back peddling and excuses begin.

Oh well! It's like a dog on a leash. Does it stop tugging at the end of it if you give it 10 more feet of length? No. In similar fashion, more and more people are becoming equally impossible to please.

Don't mind me for keeping the window to my mind cracked open. ?
