My search didn't turn up if this has been asked already.

Switching the volume controls from the back of the right side of the steering wheel to the back of the left side would be amazing for us manual drivers.

when I make a change, say I put 35 inch tires. If unplug the Tazer do those changes stay or does it always need to be plugged in?

The Tazer has vehicle settings (tire size is one of these) which are retained if you remove the Tazer. It also has live settings which require the Tazer to be married to the Jeep.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add “status triggers” to the Aux Switch programming. The current options are:
  • Type - Momentary vs Latch
  • Power Source - Battery vs Ignition
  • Recall last state

I think some of the status triggers might be:
  • While in reverse
  • When any door is open
  • When tailgate is open
  • When high beams are on
  • When headlights are on

It would be cool if you could disable the alarm button on the remote. I can't help but always hit that for some reason and it drives me nuts fumbling around to get the fob out to turn it off ::honk::honk::

You can. It’s an existing feature.

Manual transmission Jeeps have the ability to restart while in gear, but only within 20 seconds after stalling the engine in 4L. This is helpful during steep ascents or during water crossings when you might not want to depress the clutch, but the time limit and even the 4L requirement are too restrictive.

it would be helpful if the Tazer could allow a restart from stall without a time limit. Lower priority would be to include the ability in 2H and 4H.

One solution may be to have a live command capable of disabling the clutch switch temporarily.

Is there any way to get the transmission to show what gear it’s in when it’s in Drive, (1 through 8) like it does when it’s in manual mode?

My 2019 does that from the factory. I believe there is a setting in the instrument cluster to enable it.

It's just a parameter to change in the car's options from the screen, that's what I did.
