You've got to follow the instructions exactly as they are written. I did the same exact thing as you and got very frustrated. Took a break, had a shot of my favorite Tequila, and went back to it. Got it working!

Did you scroll to "Full Reboot" and select it after you made changes? You'll know for sure because you'll see a countdown timer start. Once the countdown is complete, perform two sleep cycles. Do this, in order:

  1. Turn ignition off and close the drivers door (or open then close it).
  2. Wait 60 seconds AFTER the dash goes dark, then turn the ignition on (but do not start the motor).
  3. Do the above step twice.

Yeah I did that. I am unmarrying it and starting over from scratch now

Did not work.... still reads 70mph when gps says I'm going 74... I did the full 2 sleep cycles after the full reboot and everything. Everything else works. The TPMS setting save but the speedo does not change

Did you enter the size of the tire as written on the tire or the size of the tire after measuring it?

I have tried multiple different sizes, the speedo is simply not changing

Is it retaining the new number in the tire size settings after you change it or defaulting back to the original number?

Retaining the number but not actually changing the speedo. Its 5% off which by the math is what it would be off going from a 35 to a 37.

It sounds like the Tazer is doing it's job and the issue is possibly on the Jeep side; however, if you haven't already done it, maybe plug the Tazer back into your computer and update the software and then try again. If it is already up-to-date maybe reach out to Z Automotive. They have been very responsive and helpful when I have reached out to them in the past.

I had the same problem back in 2020 with mine, It would not save the tire size. I had to use a different firmware version, then all was good.

I would contact Z Automotive directly. When I had a problem with winch mode, I contacted them and they provided great feedback and help.

I agree with everyone saying contact Z Automotive. I did so when I had and issue. I felt like I was talking to the guy that designed the Tazer.

Sent them an email per their system as I couldn't find a number
