  1. Traded Corvette for my first Jeep Wrangler

The 32 The 392 is fast for a jeep, not fast in general. If having a fast car is your interest no jeep will fit. Also the hybrid monstrosity is as fast but still bad.
  2. Traded Corvette for my first Jeep Wrangler

Don't get the 392 imo... its a waste of 20k. But that's my opinion.
  3. Hard half doors options?

Exactly. Upside if you can do it in stages, but still expensive. If you could go to a jeep dealership and buy factory half doors with uppers for 4k I would do that.
  4. Hard half doors options?

No savings over bestop element doors with door skins sadly. Thanks though had not herd of this company.
  5. Hard half doors options?

Looking for options for solid half doors that are reasonable. I know you can "build" them with bestop and can get uppers. Is there any other options that are solid and have uppers besides factory.. which I don't think you can straight buy from a dealer.
  6. Half Door Recommendations?

Is there any option to just buy the whole set of 4 with the uppers and enclosers for a lower cost for buying everyyhing? Also do not see the mirrors for the highrock doors on your site
  7. Fully loaded Rubicons, list the advantages.(other than the obvious of course)

I took my XR off road onto a decent trail one time before tossing the grubby suspension and crappy ass stock tires... imo they harm the XR package.
  8. Tazer for tire size update

They will charge you to up the tire size
  9. Stellantis offering buyouts to many salaried Jeep employees

The EV push will not last. There is not enough material to make the batteries and the grid cannot handle it. Once the government funding for EVs goes away so will the ev.
  10. Elitist Jeep Owners and Builds - you do you and I do me.

Ever notice that the cry babies that make these posts are first, not jeepers but measly jeep owners, and second have really stupid looking jeeps?
  11. Airing tires down

Keep in mind the chrap 20 buck walmart special will not work. They will melt before you get all your tires refilled. I use the ARB twin compressor mounted under my passenger seat.
  12. Death on the trail

But there is a big difference in preventable accidents and non preventable. I do not think you are grasping the difference.
  13. Death on the trail

That is an unavoidable accident... yanking on a drop ball hitch is avoidable. Do you not grasp the difference in an accident and winning a Darwin award?
  14. Death on the trail

Bottom line, no matter how unpopular it is to be "that guy" ALWAYS speak up and say something if you see people doing something unsafe. We all can see that improper equipment used on what was not a recovery point. Always be safe and if you need to tell someone that they need to ride in the...
  15. Custom vanity license plates -- let's see yours!

I got my plates back from my old jeep. Going to put them on when I get back home next month. 4TRL USE. Pic of it on old TJ
  16. I’m truly perplexed - NOT trolling!

On a side note, I wouldn't worry about going 80... even if you can do it you will spend a fair bit more in gas. Granted Iive in the mountains but just dropping to 73 from 75 gets me 1 more mpg on my trips to a friend's place that 120 miles away. It adds up over time. Kinda bugs me that I can...
  17. Let’s Talk Rock Chips from the tires (tell me I’m not crazy)

Lighter vehicles hide things better than darker ones color wise. Linda makes me happy I have high Velocity... will take a far bit for and paint damage to be noticeable
  18. I’m truly perplexed - NOT trolling!

I'm running 37s with the 2.0T but I have an XR so it came with 4.56s Honestly if you have 4.10s I would only regear to 5.13s and throw on 38s.
  19. First Jeep JLUR with XR (2023)

Better tires... if you want to go off road get off road tires, BGF KO2s are a street tire imo
  20. Anyone know what the two elastic straps are for?
