Slowly, but surely, the passenger rear door harness is becoming more and more difficult to disconnect. It seems like the little lever that you press to have it release, isn’t releasing. Anyone have this problem? Any solutions?
I installed Rubicon Rock rails in anticipation of my trip to AOAA next week. I know they are limited in the amount of protection they provide, but they were $30 so, better than nothing.
I enjoy the SOT and open it every chance I get, but if I'm honest, I wish I just had a soft top. I take the doors off when weather permits and the look of the Jeep with the doors and top off is just so cool. My next Jeep will have a soft top.
I keep a bolt, same threads, just a bit longer, in the jeep for just such an emergency. The longer bolt reaches the threads and pops the check strap right out.
I love it. I live in NY, so I only get to go off road a few times a year. On road is better than stock and off road has been just awesome. If I had it to do over again, I would choose the same lift.
