I've wondered if that thing would rattle back there on the bumpy roads.
I have had the Tailgate Table on my JL for over 2 months, including a week driving on rough trails in the mountains of Northern New Mexico. No rattles at all. I especially like the MOLLE type attachment slots on the table and use them to hold a first aid kit, flashlight and knife.

Are the bags on your site made in the US?
Nope....Made in China.

US made bags would cost 3X as much.
The few true USA bag manufacturers that there are, are pretty shitty about contract orders with smaller companies like ours. They don't want our business. I would wager that a good number of "USA" bags are not made in the USA at all...nor are they made of USA fabric.

All of our metal products are made locally here in the midwest and of USA steel.

We don't really make much money on bags....we sell them to compliment the lineup.

I'll check back with you for the table, but I couldn't get my head around almost $24 to ship the 3 pack of bags. Thanks for your reply

Yeah....me too but that is UPS for you. The best rule is to wait until you can combine the orders....UPS is awful for small packages, we get better rates for the bigger packages and you get a better deal combining the orders (usually, the UPS under-quotes those so we end up eating a bit of the shipping).

BTW, The giant logo is not set in stone....but it is functional to allow air to the vents in the door. Personally, I kind of like it....and it is hidden when the door is shut (which I also like).
I can't imagine the volumetric flow rate of air coming out of that vent to be too high? I'm guessing the logo could be 10% that size and not stop airflow.

The giant logo is history.....purely done for testing and partially for screwing around.

At this stage there will likely be no logo in the middle as I have found a better and way more discrete place to put it.

The down side is that I am doing a partial redesign (in my quest to make it silent, reliable and stupid-proof. Stupid-proof is the hard part) and will not meet our Late Sept goal....looks more to be Late Oct/early November.

Don’t see a lot of people talking about how the tailgate beyond the functionality of it (how it looks when not in use). Not something I thought about before purchasing, but I think it makes the tailgate look better even when the tables latched/closed just bc there is such a recessed angle on the left side and the gate is covered in plastic. Adding this metal to fill in and cover up made it feel more like a Jeep. I get all the comments about how it is a silly waste of $200, but I have used this for actual tailgating, and will for many other situations over the years I’m sure, and I’ve enjoyed it more than I thought. it is worth it all around in my opinion. Here are two pics with the door shut to give that perspective.

@Jcsieman do you find the cup holder cutouts to be useful, the reason I ask is the way it’s designed it does not look like you could put a bottle either glass or plastic in it as it has no bottom to stop it from falling thru

Yes, perfect size for holding a solo cup! If you didn’t have much in a cup on a windy day, they would hold it perfectly instead or risking it blow away.

I wonder how hard it would be to retrofit a bottom support so you could drop a bottled water or similar inside

I wouldn’t want anything permanent just bc when the table it folded up and not in use that would be an eyesore. That said, if you really needed/wanted, you could probably use a small black (or whatever color) bungee cord to add some bottom support tension(?)

My Mopar rattled right from the get go. The table when folded up just didn't fit tight enough to the rubber bump stop on the left side. Right side was fine. I put a piece of self adhsive foam on the table side to create a tighter fit and that seems to be working ok. The rest of the table I like. I will say however that I had a Springtail table on my JK and I liked the fit and fastening of that one way better. I'm sort of bummed I didn't wait for the JL model they are currently prototyping. Oh well.

Just throw a red solo cup in there, then put the bottle in the cup. Cheap, easy, portable.
Now that's genius. You sir, better be an engineer.

Finally decided and ended up choosing Frontrunner’s tailgate table. great price @ $129 and aligned well with the factory panel. Drilled 4 holes to match up with the OEM flanges available.
