I'm looking at potentially buying a tailgate table (fishbone)

Only one question: Do they rattle? I realize this may depend on and vary by manufacturer.

I ordered a Front Runner table ~$225. I saw the $500+ hand rubbed laminated bamboo tables. Yeah they look great. But it's a freakin table. One that will get used maybe a handful of times a year, if that. Putting that extra $300 toward diff armor.

I bought this off Amazon. It holds 100 pounds, and is an easy install. I see zero reasons why to spend big money on a tailgate table. Put the extra money somewhere else.

Have Frontrunner tailgate table installed for 1.5 years, no rattles at all. if it does, there are adjustable stoppers.

I use a Rough Country table. Hold 75lbs. No rattles. We use it for lunches while on the trail and traveling. $90.00. Easy install.

Any of the steel material tables may or may not have a rattle. If so. You can install small felt/rubber dampers for furniture or cabinets

Can't really argue too much with you but I did splurge on an AAL color matched table w/bamboo top. I love it. I guess it was the cool factor reason.

I am a fan of American Adventurer Lab stuff. They make great products and have good customer support.

Side question- is anyone running a tailgate table with the Tuffy security deck? Any figment issues?

I have this exact tailgate table. The only thing that rattled were the pins that held the table up. The small screws would back out a little and it the pins wouldn't hot the table in as tight. I added some red locktite and it's been good ever since. Good table. used hundreds of times with no issue.
