If you think FCA is going to voluntarily admit they’ve screwed up thousands of engines, you’re crazy. Do some basic research and and use some basic common sense on what adding a extra quart (especially if it was with the JK oil type since it was different) of oil to an engine does over thousands...
And to clarify, over filling a whole quart NO doubt causes problems. But, it could be worse if they did not use the right type as well. I have no proof mine did or didn’t since I didn’t test the oil inside. But, it is reasonable to assume if the untrained mechanics assumed the oil quantity was...
I took my Jeep to hell and back.... but not in the way you're thinking. Sharing this to make sure everybody is aware. I am literally probably going to sue FCA/Jeep over the crap product and service I've been getting for two years. I have wanted to love my Wrangler, but this might push me back to...
Kate/Jeep Cares.... I would love to hear your response to this problem! I typed this fast...as this just happened to me. I'm sure it is filled with typos and errors, but I wanted to get it all down as fast as i could before forgetting anything (even though I have much of it on video).
I...
ALARMING! I will probably post this in a different spot as well, one that will get the most attention, but I wanted to update here since I added a post already…… FCA shouldn’t cover their own oil changes under warranty based on my experience at the dealership today. I am afraid to be a Jeep...
My question is will FCA cover my engine since they’ve been putting 6qts in my JL!!?? Unbelievable. Just recently left the dealership for my last free oil change and happened to notice on the invoice they put 6qts. Checked the dipstick and sure enough it is high. Checked prior invoices and sure...
I get so jealous looking at this thread. I have a mall crawler but not because I have no intentions of going off road... I would love to! I just don’t have good options around me living in central Indiana (that I’m aware of). If anybody is aware of good places to take some trails/go off roading...
I haven’t seen anybody talk about a very small (but important) feature for the Sahara... the gap behind the back of the rear seat is covered by a nice pad when you lay the seats down. I’ve slept in my JLUS a few times not and that’s a standard feature that comes with the Sahara and not the...
Then they can’t charge you for it though! And besides, I have grown to like the “ledge” at the bottom. I rest my hand (a few finger tips) there while I’m using the screen and it adds some “interest” to an otherwise bland dash (so would an extra inch of screen obviously... but)
I agree... except for angry eyes. I know I shouldn’t feel this way, and we should all respect the individuality of each owner/vehicle, buuuut.... angry eyes in a wrangler is putting a cheese hat on the head of a Viking fan, putting Cindy Crawford’s face on Chris Farley’s body, Or putting...
That’s why the Jeep gets a bad crash test rating... because it doesn’t crumpled. If it was bad enough to bruise a chest, it’s bad enough to do damage to your organs! A good car with a good crumple zone would not have left the same bruising. It’s not a good thing the Jeep looks so good.
Rugged Ridge LED interior lights! Cheapest interior fuse housing ever! The lights would not work because it kept coming undone because the tiny plastic ridge wouldn’t keep it together over bumps/even normal driving. I’ve never soldered before but after a year I got so tired of the lights not...
