hey, who is running
synergy springs on your
jeep?
Which ones are you running and for how much lift?
And also a general question about spring if I have a 2 1/2 inch lift on there and I wanna swap springs I have a choice of 2 inch or 3 inch. It seems to me I should go with a 3 inch springs am I thinking correctly? However, my lift is a metal game changer lift 2.5 “
And it appears that I got at least 2.5 inches of of additional travel just by looking at how the bump stops sit inside the spring, but the fender height above the tires is more like 8 inches and I did not measure any distances before or after the left? So should I go 3 inch springs or 4 inch springs maybe?

Why are you changing springs?

I USED to run Synergy springs on my two past JKs. I ran a few others but Synergy was my favorite...just a bit stiffer than stock (which was wallowy) and a great ride on road and off road. Both my JKs were not too heavy- just sliders, winch, and mid width bumpers that were not super heavy like many.

Good to hear. I just ordered the 3” synergy coils.

Good choice. I had the 3" as well. I am tempted to switch on my Rubicon X but I am not sure which one...I suspect the 2" ones will give me the same height as the stock coils. My Rubicon X with 35s seems to be 1" or so lower than my JKUR lifted with 3" Synergy coils and 35s.

I currently have 1.5” Clayton and I am definitely higher than both the Xtreme Recon jeeps and i think even the Mopar 2”. I hope synergy raises me up a little more. Also, I am very glad synergy coils are softer—much easier to make your ride softer or firmer with shock control and plush coils. Once you go stiff coils you’re stuck with stiff ride, unless you are heavy.

really glad to hear that. i have a metal cloak lift 2.5 inch game changer with the black adjustable resivoir shocks the jeep rides really stiff even on the smallest of irregularities in the pavement,it literally rattles my teeth. metal cloaks springs are 185 lb front and 200 lb rear . That is way too stiff for my jeep . It has the factory winch and steel bumpers. To be candid I am rolling the dice on these springs . going off posted spring rates in this forum.

I have been running Synergy springs since day one on my 2018

I started with 2in springs and have recently replaced them, after 6ish years, with Synergy 3in springs (ex. https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/...front-coil-springs-jl-2dr-4in-jl-4dr-3in-lift) with leveling pucks in the rear to have a level ride when it's loaded down with gear.

I live the ride and it leaves plenty of room for my 35s. I could easily run 37s as well, but I like a smaller/lower build.

I have always gotten complements on the ride, and I've found no issues with it even after multiple 18+ hrs drives out west (from FL).

I find they give almost the exact amount of lift as advertised and don't settle as much over time as other springs I've had on other vehicles in the past.

Awesome. Can you share photos of your jeep on the 3” coils and 35s? Would love to see it

Metalcloak and Clayton have traditionally used stiffer springs, and even AEV does. I avoid those since I build relatively light Jeeps.
