Last photo looks fine, coil end is in the notch of the spring isolated perch.
I see what you’re saying now about the notch. On the driver side the notch is facing towards the back of the jeep. Passenger side, the notch is facing towards the front. Here is a pic of the driver side with the notch facing towards the back of the jeep. Does this mean one of the pads are in backwards?

They're the same part, one will point in either direction since they're installed with the flat part pointing out/toward the tire.

Thanks again. Seems like a good install, then. The shop was reputable, but it never hurts to ask. I learned some things today.
