I’m not sure if the stock nuts are deformed to hold, or the wrong thread, but if you reused them, if may be worth getting a new set of nuts.
When I put the mopar links on, I could not get them to fully seat and I broke out an impact to drive the hex. A set of the correct flange nuts from lowes spun right on.
Using what came in the kit from Clayton. Possibly the shop cross threaded them and I was actually never getting it any tighter and was just stripping out the allen slot on the inside of the nut.

I had to use a pass through wrench with the Allen wrench inside of it

It just keeps spinning if I don't try to use the 6mm.
Looking at new sway links, not really sure I like the design on these.

Looking at the Eibach ones I like that they have a washer that looks like it has an insert that fits into the sway bar to prevent slop, even if it was loose

I want something that isn't a nightmare to work on, especially since I am such a noob to this stuff
Since you installed a lift kit presumably you are going off road. Why not replace those links with quick disconnects? Or do you have a Rubicon?

No Rubicon.. The kit I had installed was the Clayton 2.5 Overland kit. It rides amazing I just noticed the sway link sucks. I am open to getting new ones even tho these are essentially new. I would like something that isnt maddening if I have to try to tighten it. I am open to QD ones as well.

Okay looking at either the Quick disconnect links from Metalcloak or Rock Krawler, I have read a lot of good stuff on the MC one but I couldn't find much on the RK one. Anyone recommend one over the other? My only concern is the MC one being a little too long. I have a 2.5" lift but I got about 3.5" on the front and the current length of my sway link is 11-11.25" or so and the MC one is 12.25" minimum I believe. Currently the sway bar has a slight upward angle to it, I would say 5-10 degrees

I wonder if it’s not some kind of deformed thread lock nut. Look at the notches by the threads on the nut.

I had this annoying knocking sound a few days after installing the 1.5” Clayton lift and found out it was the rear passenger sway bar endlink not being fully tightened. I used an Allen wrench the first time and thought I had it tight as hell, but I was at my friend’s garage and didn’t have anything else. Today I tightened all 4 bolts with an 18mm wrench and a socket wrench with this bad boy:

This made the process 10x easier, so it’s definitely worth the few $$ it costs. For the front sway bar I kept the JKS quick disconnects and they are solid!

I'll definitely pick one up next time I'm at the Auto parts store.

I noticed the one I was trying to tighten was a little stripped out so I just clamped the other side of it and used a socket on the nut and I was able to get it tight, I don't think I can do it any other was as I'm fairly certain the inside part is to stripped to tighten =/

I am looking at still getting QD ones for the front, Looking at either RK Gen 2 or MK or even maybe the AutoLynx one even tho its crazy expensive.
